Packaging Regulations

Key obligations:

  • Obligated businesses must submit reports on the amount of packaging put on the market
  • Obligated businesses can join a compliance scheme or self-comply by applying a “deposit” to the customer’s invoice which is refunded when the packaging is returned
  • There are no thresholds - all companies are obligated
